The Rocket Aeroheads® Steelhead® Mechanical Broadhead is one of the most popular, deepest penetrating mechanical broadheads ever built. A solid steel, titanium-nitride-coated, 1-piece ferrule delivers a kinetic energy packed punch. The machined chisel tip finds the path of least resistance and smashes through bone. The blades slice through and explode out the other side of even the largest game leaving huge blood trails. 1-1/8" cutting diameter.

One of the best mechanical heads ever made These heads are a classic, and for good reason. They are tough, penetrate well, and the small design keeps them amazingly accurate. Don't be fooled by the smaller cutting diameter, these things do some's up to you to make a good shot. Can't really say much more about these heads...they are just an all around awesome broadhead. reliable These broad heads truly fly like field points. I have used these for years. My entrance wounds displayed three full cuts on numerous deer. That is proof that the blades are cutting at full potential as they enter the cavity. Devastating...... Devastating to deer! Devastatingly accurate! March 25, 2013
amazing shot a feral hog with it went in right behind the shoulder and managed to break the opposite shoulder and still pass through. May 24, 2012
Best broadhead on the market!!!! This broadhead flys just like a field point, and with its design it ALWAYS opens. Best one I have ever tried! November 10, 2013

Staff Answer
The rubber band is used to hold the blades in their folded up position while the arrow is being shot. When it hits its target, the band is released and the blades expand to their open position.
