Many years ago I was fishing.the Southern California circuit. Found the locally made robo worms. The Greenwinnie 4" for drop shot won many outings.

Great question! It's tough to say exactly what will and what won't work in any given situation, especially as each water body has different main forage species that bass tend to feed on. However, generally dark colors (black or dark watermelon) tipped with a chartruse tail are the best styles of attractors for fish in this situation. If a bait does not have a brigth tip, you can get lure dyes (such as Zoom or Spike-It) to help in this category.1 of 1
