Poor Material This item bent in the middle on the second use of towing my boat. March 3, 2014
Rite Hite Motor Holder This motor holder was not at all what I expected and I will be returning it to Bass Pro for a refund. It does not hold the motor up high enough to prevent damage during transport in my opinion. I will stick with my normal transom saver bar. October 23, 2013
great product This is an excellent product! Saves alot of time and protects your motor while trailering. Material is really durable and solid, seems like it would last forever, so if you have a boat and havent purchased one of these bad boys out you need to purchase one from Bass Pro Shops! Great price also! May 16, 2012
Flaw The system works well but the red clip on units that are applied to the steering rods to keep the motor from moving sideways split at the seam right down the middle and become useless. Have not been able to determine if the two clips are available separately! May 3, 2012

Will this motor holder work with my outboard motor? I not quite sure what it means by "if your motor has cylinders", don't all motors?

Answer this Question

Staff Answer
The cylinders they are referring to are the cylinders for the motor lift. If your motor has a hydraulic lift this will work.
