Purchased the Sport dash mount compass recently just to fill a hole left in the dash after an outboard repower. Unit was easy to install and true to spec with hole diameter size. Company logo name is a bit large for the compass face. Would recommend as a good low end compass, works great.

This Ritchie Compass is amazing!! I have it installed in my fishing kayak, and it has always worked perfectly for me. This compass was very easy to in-stall, it has a very good lighing system, and it always has the right side pointing at the right time.
And the best part is that it is laid out very nicely, so anybody can read it.
Overall this compass is the best,
I would recommend it to everyone.

You will need a flat surface that is perpendicular to the centerline of the boat. The slope of the surface can be between 45 degrees and vertical. 60 degrees will give optimal viewing day and night.1 of 1
