Rinehart Targets Woodland Buck 3-D Archery Target or Replacement Vitals
The wife and I wanted a 3d deer to shoot at. Just to have a change from the 4 sided morel bag/block we have. We love the target! The replaceable vital seems like it will last a through many shots! The rest of the target is foam that doesn't really reseal like the vitals do. The antlers do fall out when moving the target around not a big deal though. The vitals are two sided one looking like a dear in the woods and the other shows heart lungs and liver. The target is a lil small for a deer in my opinion. Buy I travel for work so I don't mind. Arrows pull easy but not with just two fingers

Purchased the woodland buck target to practice shooting in my backyard. Have not been disappointed. The self healing foam seals back where the arrow went in so you don't even see a hole. Arrows remove easily.

great target for the money
the woodland buck is a great target for the money. The insert is made of the Rinehart material but the rest of the body is made of cheaper foam that will rot and flake if left in the sun. As long as you keep your arrows in the vital area this target should last a long time. I repainted my target with matched exterior latex paint and it has been holding up great.

This target was simple to set up and easy to take down. I used 2, 1/2" rebar stakes @ 24" long. Drove them deep enough so that half of them are inside the target and half in the ground and it stays put. My arrows have 90#'s of KE and removal from this target is relatively easy but I have to pull firmly. Don't get me wrong though, I was pleased with how easy they were to pull out. It's probably about 25% of the effort it would take to pull them from a compressed fiber-board target. A ten year old kid could pull arrows out of this target no sweat. It has the vitals marked with fine lines that are easy to see when you get up close and they are properly located. Seals back after shots just fine.
My only issue is that it is small, only slightly bigger than a fawn. The antlers do fall out when you remove your arrows but it is a really simple 1 minute fix.
