Developed after a style of calling that's built it's reputation on putting ''Mondo'' wads of ducks in the woods, the Rich-N-Tone™ Mondo Duck Calls are reminiscent of the Cut Down Key Hole calls made famous by guides hunting high pressured, public grounds ducks in the hardwood bottoms of Arkansas and Louisiana. Featuring a very short insert that creates very little back pressure, the Mondo has the range to produce the hard, loud, raspy lick of a mallard hen as well as the loud squeaky chatter desired by the public ground guides. Single reed call has an O-ring insert. Made in USA.
Manufacturer model #: RNT379.

I just got my call in the mail and separated the insert from the barrel. The wedge was so loose that it wont stay in unless you hold it. The wedge is supposed to sit in tight in order to hold the reed in place. Cut a new wedge and the call sticks and sounds terrible. For 140 dollars this call should not come like this. Unfortunately this is my second RNT that I have had major issues out of the box. RNT has focused too much on mass production and lost sight of quality. No more RNT calls for me... Be cautious in your purchase of high dollar calls from RNT.

This call has a wide range from highs to lows. It is hard to blow but with some practice you will get the hang of it. It will fit anyone with an aggressive style of calling and should really pull in the highflyers!
