Rod Holder gives you a place to stow your rod and reel while moving between fishing spots or to hold different setups while fishing with another. A great choice to add another holder to your kayak or replace a damaged holder, this closed end holder design is great for use in kayaks. Constructed from injection molded ABS, this convenient fishing accessory stands up to outdoor conditions for a long time. Holder features a 30º design for tight, flush mount. Injection molded elastomer gasket (sold separately) ensures a sure, watertight seal after installation. Color: Black.

NOTE: Mounting hardware not included. Manufacturer recommends #10 Oval/Flat Head x 3/4” screw (sold separately) for installation. A longer or shorter length may be needed depending on boat material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great addition to fishing kayak! In the past I used the shock cord on the side of my boat to carry combos and I ended up with a few broken rod eyes. I installed 2 of these behind the seat of my kayak and they work great. They are easy to access and simple to install they also provide a safe place to carry my combos. I used a large paddle bit to cut the holes and stainless steel screws to mount. November 8, 2012

Only issue was that the package should have included directions as to the size of the hole needed. It would have saved the time in measuring. September 10, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by rod holder Appears to be same model factory uses, you’ll need the appropriate hole saw to install and be sure your kayak has enough access to allow you to use a socket or wrench for attachment unless you use rivets. June 21, 2011

I recommend pop rivets. Bolts are too cumbersome and screws have nothing to hold into.
