When I am going into an area I know that the mosquitos burn when they bite and that ticks are plentiful, I reach for my bottle of Repel 100. A little goes a long way, and nothing in its right insect mind is coming near you with this stuff on. I love the outdoors but abhor biting insects, and this gives you peace of mind. Don't let it get on your watch or plastics though...peeled the paint right off my Timex.

This is both good and bad stuff. Theres nothing that beats 100% deet to really keep the bugs at a distance. However, this stuff is so powerful it will take a finish right off a gun. Its not really that bad on your skin, but for some reason it just destroys a guns finish. A 40% deet is more than sufficient and wont hurt your stuff.

The Repel repellent comes in several strength ratings of Deet and in convienent spray bottles in various sizes. You can choose the level of protection you need for the conditions you may encounter while hunting, fishing, camping or any other outdoor activity you are engaging in at the time.
