Made with Remington components right here in the USA, UMC handgun ammunition is available in today's most popular pistol and revolver calibers with metal case or jacketed hollow point bullets. UMC ammunition provides shooters with the optimum blend of value and performance. 45 ACP is 230 grain metal case bullet. 250 Round Mega Pack. 250 rounds per box.
Good ammo. Good pricing. Buy in bulk.
I love UMC! I always buy it in the 250 Mega Pack because I shoot weekly. This is the best price I can find for UMC and I have never had any problems with it. I have fired maybe 7000 rounds of UMC with only one minor issue. Great value for range shooting. I buy 1000 rounds per month and use 1000 per month at the range.

I purchased a Springfield XDm and immediately bought this ammo for practice. I was very pleased with this ammo, and actually surprised at how accurate it was. Fired over 100 rounds with zero defects. I bought another 250 rounds if that says anything. Also used some Zombie rounds and the Rem held its own. 30 yards with 1 1/2 MOA with the Rem ammo, but the XDm does have a match barrel. Get some......

Last week I purchased a new Kimber Pro CDP ll and a box (250 rounds) of Remington® UMC® 45 ACP Mega Pack Ammo to make sure this Kimber worked before I started carrying it.
The UMC performed perfectly without a jam or squib round in the whole case. After shooting, naturally I cleaned the gun and magazines and was surprised just how clean the ammo burned.
Great value and today I purchased another 250 rounds!

Great ammo. No misfires or jams. No problems with rapid fire in my Glock 21. Will buy again. If you need ammo for practice, this is what you should buy. Ammo arrived on time, but the outer box was in bad shape. Almost lost some rounds. Should have been packed with better movement absorbing internal packing, not air bags. Will buy again.

Yes they contain lead, most ammo does. You can find "lead free" ammo, but it is usually VERY expensive (in comparison) and typically you can only find the most popular calibers. UMC over the years has lowered the emount of lead in their products (considerably lower than agula, blazer ect.) . Almost all the ammo you will find for handguns has a "lead core" projectile. You can limit the possible exposure to lead by using TMJ (total metal jacket) and FMJ (full metal jacket- like the UMC), however there are some brands that have traces of lead in the powder they use. Check with the manufacturers if its a real concern for you. I have been shooting regularly since I was a kid and have had no problems related to lead. Wash your hands and clothes well after shooting, don't stick your fingers in your mouth with GSR (gun shot residue) on them before you wash your hands and you should greatly limit your exposure to the heavy metal.
