Remington® SuperCell™ Recoil Pads
Perfect fit / great material
I was skeptical at how cheap this was compared to the competition pad "saver"...I figured it wouldn't fit (as that is the #1 complaint about this product). Those people must not have read the wood vs synthetic label on the product, because I have a regular pump 870 express synthetic and this thing went on like a glove, it was unreal. You unscrew the original hard rubber pad with a screw driver and pop these wider screws in and screw it in with a phillips. Perfect product, I can't wait to shoot with it (all i know for now is it first 100% and feels soft yet firm enough to handle slugs!) and most of all, it isn't sticky like the competition's material for 2x the cost! Thanks bass pro, you could've easily jacked up the price on this, but you didn't, so I bought it from you vs online.

I read the reviews before ordering but called Remington and they said if my 870 shotgun was new, or even a recent model, that the SuperCell Recoil Pad would fit. I am so disapointed. Two photos are worth a thousand words or more. Trying to decide if should return or not. Even had problems with "Use only these screws" provided with Supercell. I think they were a little longer and resisted going all the in for snug pad fit.

I purchased a 300 Remington Ultra Mag that came with one of these. Having fired many rounds at the range, the comfort this provided got my attention. I purchased one for my 870 shotgun. 100 rounds in a day usually had me looking for pain medication that night. After this was installed on my shotgun, 100 rounds on top of 25 rounds from my 300 RUM didn't even come close to bothering my shoulder. Didn't even feel like I had gone shooting the next day. it's about half the cost of most other comparable recoil pads, and will also save you a fortune on pain medication. If you own a Remington that will accept one of these, treat yourself to one.

super duper cell
by wood they ment the semi fancy wood, basically wingmaster, 1100, or 1187 premier, anything the r3 pad would fit, i bought a new 20g 1187 premier with a r3 limbsaver pad on it after a Few shots the squishy substance was grabbing my shoulder and pinching it , like a suction cup ... i decided i could do better then that, so i got this pad and i must say what a difference ... it's like a pillow on your gun. makes my 20 gauge shoot like a baby, and better yet is how good it looks(remington logos on the side) i have had mine through briars even and for 20.00 dollars there is no beating this thing, i am putting one on my 870 next... this is a must for the kids and the ladies thanks bass pro and thank you remington!!
