Just put this stock and forend on my 870 Expres Super Mag Waterfowl Camo. Took me more time to go downstairs get the two screwdrivers needed than to actually change both pieces. They are a perfect fit with my shotgun. Ok the camo isn't the same (mossy oak obsession vs duck blind) but who cares!!! Two guns, two different hunts for an extra 90$...not too bad. Gave it only 4 stars because I haven't tested it by actually shooting. I don't think that will be a problem because the inside and the areas that touch the receiver are identical in both stocks .

Should be noted that these are for 12 ga shotguns. It took a lot of modifications to make it fit my 20 ga.

After reading many reviews, I purchased this to use on my 870 slug gun. Must say I'm impressed. Fit is very good, and the increased height of the comb allows a straight line view through a Bushnell red dot scope. The reverse angle on the comb and supercell butt pad reduces pain on the old shoulder and cheek when shooting heavier slug loads.
Couple of tips: Read and follow the instructions! The forearm nut can be removed easily with a good pair of needlenose pliers. When installing the new forearm, be careful to center it as instructed. If your existing stock is wood, remove the bearing plate that is used between the butt stock and receiver. It's not used with a synthetic stock.
These should eliminate many issues I read about in reviews. I spent a grand total of about twenty minutes changing stocks, and love the Shurshot!

The problem was with my wooden fore end was a little stubborn to get a loose after that if you tighten the new one fully the pump action doesnt want to work had to loosen it back up a bit but i love the feel once i got it back together and it looks great stock is not quite flush but still works great

I live in Athens, Ga and a local firearms and hunting dealer called Franklin's has a few (I assume pre-owned) Remington 870 Express models (at least 8 on the floor) with the ShurShot Stock installed on them and the saleman assured me that they did fit the 870 and judging by the "floor models" they had I was not going to challenge him. Just trying one of the floor models made me WANT to have this on my 870.I believe also that Bass Pro's Hunting Master catalog lists it as fitting to the 870.

Yes, it will work for a right or left handed shooter. That's what the word ambidextrous means, able to use with either hand.Details:Â
I am trying to find out if this ShutShot Stocks will work on a Charles Daly 12 ga. I understand that some things are able to switch. Any help would be great ...... Thanks Tim
