Ok product, noisy in brush
I bought this set in the original Mossy Oak pattern several years ago after splitting the beautiful walnut stock on my 870 Wingmaster while hunting. It fit perfectly and I have taken a lot of deer since then, but the finish is starting to wear off, especially on the forearm.
My biggest complaint is that the stock is hollow (and a bit thin) and tends to be noisy when bumping up against tree branches, bushes, etc... It's not a make or break deal, but it does make it feel somewhat cheap. Unless they're now shipping it with a better recoil pad than the one they were using back then, you may want to invest in a $20 SuperCell.

I bought a real nice 870 16gauge, about a month. The seller said that he packed it away 35yrs ago. It is in great shape, except in the 35 yrs it soaked up a lot of oil in the stock and it cracked. This is the second Replacement Stock that I have bought. Instead of buying a new gun, buy a stock and enjoy a old gun.

They do make youth stock but unfortunately Bass Pro does not carry them through catalog or Internet sales. I would contact a Outdoor World store to see if they have them. Here is the contact information for the stores http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/s...
