I recently picked up a Arisaka type 99(all original)and was wondering if it is safe to use on the metal and the wood(if it gets on it).

I've never had Rem Oil stain any of the wood on my old military guns, so you should be okay. If you get any on the stock, wipe it off with an old sock or soft cloth and it shouldn't leave any marks. Happy shooting!
