never buy R51
I shoot just 1st magazine (7 rd) with any problem, but
after that I could shoot just 1st rd ,and every time I should reload magazine.

Factory lube required
My first experience with the R51 was terrible. I fired 20 rounds and 4 would not eject properly. I field stripped it, lubed the slide and have not had a problem since. Low recoil and accurate!

I was skeptical about this pistol once I had it ordered because a slew of videos online said this pistol was a flop. Well after getting it home I test fired it. I fired regular rounds of 115 grain 9mm, and some +P rounds and this pistol is amazing! The recoil is practically non existent. It kicks less than a .380! I now carry this as my conceal carry weapon. I have shot it several times since first firing it, it performs without error. I have had vast experience with many different pistol platforms. This is by far the best I've had so far.

My R51 was sent back to Remington on 3/20/14, Three days after I purchased it. Only fired three (3) rounds thru it. Slide kept locking back after each shot. Got a Repair number from Remington after calling for three weeks. Then every time I called Customer Service said they had no information on my pistol. Finally I got someone to tell me it was "on the Bench" When asked what that meant he stated that it was on a Gunsmiths work bench, but he did not know how many other items were ahead of my repair. after a number of e-mails to Remington Customer Service and demanding either a repair status or a refund they informed me that there was a Breach Block Problem with the R51 and that none were being repaired or manufactured until the designers figured out the Problem. Requested a Refund, Faxed all the information required by Remington on 06/08/14.... Checked on 06/09/14 that they received same, which they confirmed. Told I would get check in about a week, Still Waiting...
