Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Slugs I have taken about 5 deer with these slugs and my father took a buck at 100 yards with my gun and this slug. Although I have never been too concerned with lead in the deer I have taken, I like the all copper slugs and they seem to shoot better than some of the other slugs I have used. The only drawback is I have yet to find a slug still in the deer. They have all been pass-throughs but the trailing jobs have always been easy. Most don't go far if at all. October 18, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Accurate 20 ga These slugs shoot well out of a stock youth model Rem 11-87. 2.5 inch group at 50yds. August 27, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by best all around slug I have used this remington copper sabot slug for years now and it has never failed. It consistently patterns and leaves devastating holes. Ive taken deer, wild boar, black bear and fox with this slug. I know if the game im after presents a shot, its game over with these slugs. They are a real confidence builder with me and I know I can rely on them. August 21, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Remington Copper Solid Sabot Slug I discovered the Copper Solid a few years back when I experimented with a number of slugs to see what shot accurately and consistantly with my Mossberg 500 equipped with a fully rifle barrel. I am now producing groups less than three inches at 100 yards with my 500 and a Pentax red dot scope...I can't complain about that. I have found that the knockdown power is more than sufficient as well. I have taken two big-bodied bucks with these slugs and haven't had to track either buck...Dead right there! I can't say enough about my satisfaction with this ammunition. I can now only hope these will be the slug of choice for my new Remington as well! July 28, 2010

Mary, these are for rifled barrels. Look for the phrase, "RIFLED SLUGS or RIFLED SABOTS." W/O spin you are throwing a knuckle ball. Federal TRU-BALLS will work well.
