Picked up a rifled deer slug barrel for my Sears Ted Williams and tried 6 different sabot slugs through it. These by far outperformed them all. Was looking to find slugs with good groupings before I tried zeroing in my shotgun so shot at a 40 yard target. At 40 yards, I was getting groupings of about 1.5 inches. Next week I'll pick up a few more boxes and zero in at 40 yards than see how they do at 75 and 100. I agree with earlier reviewer that they are a bit pricier here.

Solid Copper and the deer goes down in one shot. 2 3/4 inch is more than enough for a deer. I had one deer that I lost with this round, but that is because I rushed myself.

I tried 4 or 5 other types of slugs through my Remington 870. These were the most accurate. I have not taken them hunting yet, but I will in a couple days. Bass Pro's price is a little high. If you look you can find good deals on them.

I shoot these slugs out of a 12 guage mossberg 500, they shoot great with the gun. I used these slugs for the past two years. Last year I dropped a four point buck from 30 yards away. The only negative thing about these slugs are that they are expensive and if you shoot you are wasting about 4 dollars a shot but i'm still going to use these because if you shoot something it's down right then and there. Overall it's a great slug.
