Rated 5 out of 5 by Best ammo I have shot 10 deer with this ammo. All 10 dropped in their tracks. Great product! October 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Good Slug Performs well. Stopped deer in their tracks. Cannot wait to hunt again. October 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by deer slugs These are the best groupings for the Mossberg 500. October 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tight Picked up a rifled deer slug barrel for my Sears Ted Williams and tried 6 different sabot slugs through it. These by far outperformed them all. Was looking to find slugs with good groupings before I tried zeroing in my shotgun so shot at a 40 yard target. At 40 yards, I was getting groupings of about 1.5 inches. Next week I'll pick up a few more boxes and zero in at 40 yards than see how they do at 75 and 100. I agree with earlier reviewer that they are a bit pricier here. June 10, 2013

Mary, these are for rifled barrels. Look for the phrase, "RIFLED SLUGS or RIFLED SABOTS." W/O spin you are throwing a knuckle ball. Federal TRU-BALLS will work well.
