Remington Nitro Turkey Extended Range Magnum Shotshells
Good shell, LUCKILY
I bought a few boxes of these just because they were cheap, I use federals mostly and these are 1/4 the price. So I pop a couple in my vest to pattern after the hunt, and out I go. Well don't 2 birds come into view just as my buddy and I are setting up. I reach in my vest and don't I pull one of these out!! So I call the birds to 40 yards and they hang up. The one starts to walk away, so we let them have it. This shell smoked that bird! I still haven't patterned the shell, but it obviously does the job.

Nitro Turkey Load
WOW, I picked these up just cause they were cheap and I wanted to try a #5 load. I patterened these in at 30yds. with my mossberg 500 and a Primos tite wad choke tube and was absolutely blown away by how awesome these patterend and they had the knock down power I was looking. I was shooting #6 loads and they just didn't have that extended range power I was looking but I will never look for another load to shoot....THESE NITRO'S ARE AWESOME!!!!!!

Finally Dialed In
After trying several different loads and three chokes, found the combo my 870 Super Mag likes. Using these shells with # 5's, an Undertaker with .675 constriction, and Bushnell Trophy 1.75 x 4 x 32 scope on top.
Great patterns out to 40 yds.
My barrel wound up liking the tighest choke I could find. Any shot closer than 20yds will take his head clean off. Jelly at 20..

Great for turkey
Recently patterned my 12 ga. Remington 870 Express Super Magnum with the Nitro Turkey 3 1/2 inch 5 shot using a TruGlo Gobble Stopper Xtreme choke. At 35 yards got 31 hits in the head and neck. The 4 and 6 shot performed well, but not as good as the 5's for me. My choice will be the 5's. I would recommend this ammo to anyone using the same gun and choke set-up.
