Remington Nitro Turkey Extended Range Magnum Shotshells
Great for the 3 inch #5 shot in a 20 gauge
I shot this Rio down in Texas he was 29 lbs, 8 inch beard, 1 1/2 inch spurs it only took on shot. He was bout 35 yards. The max i would shoot a turkey with the 20 ga version is about 40-45 yards.

Favorite Shell For Turkey
I shoot #5's from my 835 with xx-full turkey and out to 40 yards the head and neck area on the target is peppered with plenty of shot! Have shot 3 gobblers and 4 hens with this load and never has it failed me.

Nitro Turkey Loads
this past year i ran out of the good ol Remington magnum heavy-shot #6's as i am a broke college kid i bought these because they were the cheapest box of ten turkey loads Remington offers. I bought them in the 12ga 3in #6's for my 870. after a long hard season i called a bird in at about 25yds and the nitro hit him harder than the Hevi-shot did a year before i was really pleased with its performance. i don't know how it patterns at further distances and is the only reason i gave them a 4 star but i plan on testing them next spring.

Must Have Turkey Load
This shell is simply amazing. For years I shot only federals due to the bad luck I had experienced with other Remington loads. I had a few friends that told me that I should try these turkey loads. So last year I took their advice and used them with my benelli nova and kicks choke and they patterned great and I even bagged my largest bird. This year I bought two more boxes of them and then bought a Remington 870 express Super Magnum and patterned them with it and still great. I cant wait to try them on a huge tom!
