I got some #4 and #6 and a couple of #2 loads from a friend. Great ammo. Not really a noticeable difference in recoil. But the knockdown power is there. Pricy

If you want a shell with the longest knock down power, try the Nitro Mags.I use the 3" 20 Ga. usually 4's for Squirrel, and 6's or 71/2's for Grouse and these get the job done with ease. The #4's also will work Great on Turkey too.If I'm not using Nitro mags,I'm using Rem. Express for everything else I need. They have Never failed me yet! Good shoot"n !

I bought these for a wild pheasant hunts. They are great for shooting wild birds that flush sooner than a planted bird. The Nitro Mag does the job! Just wish they made them in shot sizes bigger than # 4.

I have used these loads extensively in both my 12 and 20 gauge 870 Wingmasters with excellent results...from turkey to long range pheasants, not to mention late season varying (snowshoe) hares...with a full choke they will reach out and bring home the game.

A:Â
It depends on the condition of your classics and the choke on your barrels. Ask a gunsmith.A:Â
if they are lead shot yes if they are bizmuth yes if they are malable like lead yes. If not dont trust grand pappys favorite double to hold to gether or not have a ring develope at the barrel just where the choke is. check witht he shell MFG if this loading is safe in Older nitro Proofed guns I am betting a buffered lead load will do just fine just dont shoot ducks and geese with them!1 of 1
