bought this rifle 5yrs ago and set the sights in. i can shoot up too 300 yrds. also killed two 8 pointers with it and highly recommended.

Hi, I am 18 and I'm going to be doin ping deer hunting a lot. The only rifle I've ever hunted with is a 742 woodsmaster 30-06.

This is a decent big game hunting rifle. Will take down a elk and deer. If you are used to the 30-06 (.30 caliber) maybe a 308 would be better. also for big game a 300 WIN mag or 7mm are always a good choice1 of 1
