Built on proven 700 bolt action, the Remington Model 700 SPS .223 REM Varmint Rifle punches tiny groups straight out of the box. Perfectly matched to high-velocity calibers, the rifle’s tough, non-reflective matte blued finish keeps the receiver and heavy-contoured barrel hidden from sharp predator eyes. The ergonomically designed black synthetic stock has a vented beavertail fore-end for enhanced grip, reduced weight and better heat dissipation. The Model 700 SPS .223 REM Varmint also features a 5 + 1 hinged floorplate magazine, sling swivel studs, and a drilled and tapped receiver.

At 100 yards can put 3 hornady bullets in the same hole really i can put all 6 through the same hole. I have a Leupold® VX®-II Rifle Scope on it. Havent shot anything with it so dont know the damage. A little heavy but you will get used to it.

I am just getting into coyote hunting and I am looking a purchasing a gun to do this. I have read a bunch of reviews and most say that a .223 is a great gun for this. It gets good distance and shoots very flat. What i am wondering is, would this gun get the job done or is there something better around the same price range?Answers
