The Remington Model 700 CDL .30-06 SPG Rifle combines the famous action and consistency of a 700 with a classically styled design. The traditional straight comb American walnut stock includes a satin finish, finely cut checkering, right handed cheek piece, black fore-end tip and grip cap, and sling swivel studs. The jeweled bolt body and satin blued steel barrel and action round out the rifle’s tasteful design. The Model 700 CDL .30-06 SPG also features externally adjustable X-Mark Pro Trigger System, 4 + 1 hinged floor plate magazine, thumb safety, and a receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

I bought this gun in 30-06 and it shoots like it should have cost much more than it did. All around just a great gun.

I love this Gun. I cant wait for Deer season to come around. I also want to take it on an elk hunt if I get the chance. Very high quality and worth the money.

I have the 30-06 and boy do I love it. I have meddled around with other rifles, but I always grab my 700 almost everyday. I've owned my fair share of the various 700s and I am yet to be disappointed. The 700 CDL .30-06 SPG looks amazing and shoots better. Spend the extra money for this over its less expensive, and massively inferior, competitors. No other rifle compares. This is truly my go-to rifle.

I initially was on the fence when it came to what rifle I wanted. I knew what caliber I wanted, and I had a list of about five narrowed down. After handling all five rifles, comparing reviews, and thinking it over, the Remington 700 CDL is what I decided on. I couldn't be happier. I even found one with a unique "tiger stripe" wood pattern on the foregrip. This rifle may end up being one of my favorites. The action is solid, the barrel has one of the best reputations in the market, and the wood stock is better than some other "deluxe" models. Compare for yourself - you'll see.

This rifle is engineered so closely to perfection that even the .30-06, which normally gives smaller shooters some trouble, feels extremely smooth and you hardly feel a thing. However, if you are truly worried, go to a .308, it is still an excellent round (my personal favorite) and provides less recoil than a .30-06. It is personal opinion really.Details:Â

if it was brand new you might just need to break it in and it should get better, if not try taking out the bolt and lightly lubricating all moving parts with rem oil1 of 1
