Just An Okay .22 Rifle
I purchased this rifle about 2 years ago and when first got it I loved it but after putting about 100 rounds thru it, it tends to jam every other 20 or so. At first I thought it was cause of the brand of bullets but have tried everyone and they all do the same. I keep it very well cleaned so that is not what is causing the Jam. Okay now about the Magazine they are cheaply made and do NOT last long at all I have purchased about a dozen so far. I wish they would make a better aftermarket magazine for this rifle. So I gave it 3 stars because for a youth getting his first gun this would be an okay good learning gun. Although when its shooting good it does have very tight groups very accurate that is whats nice about it. Hope this helps someone decision when purchasing this rifle!!

My First Rifle
This is the first gun I've ever owned and let me say this i am hooked and can't wait to buy my next one. I only do my shooting at the range and once we zeroed in the scope i bought for it i hit dead center at 100 yards. My wife (whose never shot before) shot her first magazine at 75 yards and she said she loved it it's lightweight and durable I'm very impressed and would recommend this to anyone whose just starting to learn to shoot.

Probably not. You need a large caliber for deer hunting.

only a head shot, and its illegal where i live, i hunt with a 7mm rem mag and it works great for everythingA:Â
Yes if you put the shot in the right place, and you don't mind tracking for a very long time. However in most states .22 or any other rim fire cartridge to hunt deer is illegal. better to go with something like a .308,.270, 7mm,30-06.1 of 1
