a great round for semi auto with my 10-22 i use nothing other then remington golden bullet. I was having trouble with winchester super-x jaming in my gun so i bought a box of these and cycled the whole box through with out one jam, would highly suggest this round for any auto loader April 18, 2006
1600 Rd Bucket of Junk. I had been a Golden Bullet fan since the late 1970's. It had been my go to ammo since then and I had a good supply of it stashed away from 10 years ago when this ammo shortage hit. Imagine how happy I was to find a 1600 rd bucket of it this fall. That was only the second time I've found GB in the last 2+ years. It was marked "new and improved" but when I went out to try it today it was as bad the poorly touted Winchester White Box. The bullets were too loose to reliably feed in even my Ruger Mark 1 that gobbles up everything including the "old" GB I have. The only other thing my Mark 1 will not shoot is Winchester Bulk. I selected 10 random rds and showed them to a range buddy and all bullets could be spun and wiggled with one bullet so loose it could be flopped back and forth in the case by moving my hand. Sorry Remington but you have lost a fan of your "famed" Golden Bullet round. This bucket was junk and if it was a fluke what does that say about your quality control? December 27, 2014
best .22LR ammo I purchased I am very impressed with the Remington .22L ammo, It cycles just fine, But on rapid fire it jams (10/22) normal for my gun, 10/10, best price around! January 30, 2013
only 22lr ammo I use The 36gr 1280fps cycle flawlessly in my 10/22 & my s&w m&p 22 pistol.Accurate & reliable. December 4, 2013

No Remington does not make this item in a heavier shell. However they work just fine in the 10/22 my cousin owns he's never had a problem with any 22 ammo going through it like water down a drain.
