  • Designed for the widest variety of end uses
Over the years, no manufacturer has been responsible for more advancements in rimfire ammunition than Remington. No doubt this is because Remington gives their rimfire ammunition the same meticulous manufacturing attention as their centerfire ammunition. As a result, Remington produces the widest variety of rimfire loadings for every possible end use. Whether it's hunting, plinking or competing. Remington has developed the widest variety of rimfire ammunition to match any use.
Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 107 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good for plinking These 22s have good expansion. The only drawback is that I have had way too many misfires with these loads. I do not know what it is but I just found out that it was not my gun. The firing pin strikes nice and hard and I never can get a full clip through my gun without a misfire. I have an eight shot Bolt-Action Marlin Glendale Model 20 and a 19 shot Lever Action Barrel Loading Marlin Model 39A. These two guns shoot CCI and Federal shells great. Remington and Winchesters I usually expect a few misfires. The Remingtons I have been using for years and they just have gotten worse. February 7, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by good ammo Excellent accuracy. Good performance on game never lose anything hit. December 30, 2007
Rated 1 out of 5 by Problematic I had a few misfires that were just annoying until I looked more closely. On many of these, the bullet portion of the cartridge has what looks like something sharp came down right on it, leaving a split in the top 1/3 of the bullet. There's no way this can feed properly. Remington won't return the messages I leave asking about it. Until I get a good explanation (and the time of day) from Remington, I stay away from anything they make. August 19, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by great for the price. my dad bought a box for the gun range so my sister can shoot. out of a thousand rounds i have not had any problems. i shoot them in a stevens model 42 bolt action and a ruger 10/22 semiauto .they also work good for rabbit and squirel. i carry them in a revolver when i go hunting for snakes i'll never shoot any thing other than remington August 17, 2007

No Remington does not make this item in a heavier shell. However they work just fine in the 10/22 my cousin owns he's never had a problem with any 22 ammo going through it like water down a drain.
