Remington® Golden™ Bullet .22 LR Rimfire Ammo
1 out of 3000
1 miss fire out of 3000 rounds fired out of my 10/22 low priced and accurate

Bought these through BassPro when the price was right. However, out of 525 rounds I lost count of the duds and misfires in the box. I bought a box from another lot # - same problem. I switched to CCI (more $) and presto, the gremlins disappeared. If only 90% of the box fires- where is the value? I'm easy to please and I know there will be duds- but my time and money are of great value. I want to spend both on a product that delivers.

I had a few misfires that were just annoying until I looked more closely. On many of these, the bullet portion of the cartridge has what looks like something sharp came down right on it, leaving a split in the top 1/3 of the bullet. There's no way this can feed properly. Remington won't return the messages I leave asking about it. Until I get a good explanation (and the time of day) from Remington, I stay away from anything they make.

I've tried several bulk bullets for my 10 22 and Savage automatics. I have used with confidence for years. VERY few duds. I had a lot of problems with several brands jamming (Federal and Winchester in particular). No problems with these. I'm a little surprised with some reviews saying that they do. They have a good ballistic review as well.
The groupings are very good. The boxes I have used are clean, but could definitely use some reinforcement. I have had a full box dump out when I picked it up.
I WILL be buying more. Remington is the only bullet I use now (in any caliber). I only wish I could find the viper 22 bullets in bulk.
