Really Good Ammo A few months ago i bought a box of this ammo to shoot from a model 74 winchester from the 1950's. I have had a lot of problems getting the gun to feed ammunition, and all the expensive stuff from Winchester didn't work well at all. I took it to the range, and shot through 200 rounds without one single jam. Great accuracy, too. My record for the longest shot on a 4x4" target with this load is 265 yards with the original scope, a 3x power. With a good scope, i could see it going much farther accurately. The stength of the load seems good, I've taken lots of groundhogs with it this year to 130 yards, and they always drop. Couldn't be more impressed. Great ammo Remington, keep it up. August 5, 2012
Good and Cheap I just went out this week end target shooting my ruger 10/22 (takedown). I fired nearly the entire box (maybe 50 left), i didn't have a single problem. ya my gun was pretty dirty but for the price who cares, i can just clean it. it was also pretty accurate, great ammo for the price. it is dirty but what ammo itn't There is no dough about it. It is a dirty round. It will get your weapon and hands dirty. But tell me, what round does not? The way I see it, I still have to clean my weapon after I have fired my weapons and I wash my hands continually throughout the day. I like this ammo because my weapons work great with it, it is accurate to 100 yards and it is cheap. Among all my fire arms, I have a Sig Mosquito. It is well known by being picky with ammo. It has been said that only minimags will work well through it. This is not a mosquito review so we are not going to talk much of it. However, this ammo works great. Yes sometimes there are two or three failures to fire per box. But there are boxes that do not. The ones that fail to fire, if you pull the trigger one more times 100% of the time they will fire. Although it is a dirty round, it is much better than federal Winchester and other bulk ammo. Federal used to be ok. it was never accurate but it was fun and I can get it for less. Lately federal fail to work well in any of my weapons, it fails to fire to eject, to feed. It there is a problem you can get with ammo the new federal will do it. we know it is a dirty round, we know that like any rimfire ammunition although rare a failure to fire will cure. But let’s talk about accuracy. With my mosquito at 50 yards my groping of 10 rounds is four inches. With my HP22 it is 6 inches at the same distance. With my 10/22 and Remington at 100 yards my grouping of 10 rounds is 3 inches. my sig 522 at 100 yards is 2 inches. I can go on and on but the bottom line is, it is accurate, it is cheap, it is dirty, but what ammo isn’t. June 7, 2012
worst product ever Remington 22 caliber Golden Bullets. Dirty, Dirty, Dirty. Fouled my S & W revolver, My Ruger Single 6 revolver, and my Henry 22 Cal. rifle not to mention made my hands filthy. Also 7 misfires from one box of 525. For the same money, Federal makes about the best product.. May 4, 2012
