I purchased this knife for my husband for Christmas. He was pleased with the blade quality and sturdiness; however, the sheath snap broke the first time he opened it. We visited a local store, and the associate worked with us to exchange the knife and sheath for a new one.

Great knife overall. Came sharp as expected out of box, and holds edge pretty well. I bought two of these and one of the sheaths, however, broke as soon as i touched it. Made a new sheath for it, and still carry both around almost always. Great buy.

I've had this knife for a year, and for $20 it has become my favorite fixed blade knife in my collection of 12 different hunting knives. This is the one you will to take with you to the field. The blade is rust-proof and it keeps its edge for a very long time. This is a very ergonomic knife -- it feels real to hold. It has an exceptional thumb groove. The blade is surprisingly thick -- I don't think this knive will ever break. I really like the size -- it is very intimidating for a 4 inch blade yet its not over-the-top like some of my Bowie knives. This knife is just as good -- if not better -- than my $50 equivalent Gerber knife.
