Rated 4 out of 5 by Needs a ported barrel Good gun overall but with low wieght everyone is correct, when you shoot you know it. Remington needs to make a ported barrel for this bad boy. September 23, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by 887 waterforl i bought this gun just before early goose season last year for the first month or so it was awesome..... then it got a little wet... after cleaning this gun it was still a pain.. this gun turned into basically a full time single shot.. i have cleaned this gun numerous times since then and i have only got it to cycle once... going to trade this piece off this week April 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Gun This is an awesome shotgun. I have already killed a 10 pointer with it on my first time out with it. I bought the rifled barrel for it and the iron sights are just fine. I will say that you should pattern this gun in as few shot as possible. It is extremely light and you will feel every shot when not in a rush from deer, turkey, or ducks coming in. When you pattern it you feel like you got punched in the face. November 26, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by unsatisfied I've had this gun since december of last year and it worked perfectly for the first 10 shells then it started jaming almost every 5 shots or so... and I always clean and oil my guns afer a hunt so its not a lack of maintenance and the camo paint is also chipping off already September 30, 2011

With the right choke tube this would be a good gun for turkeys or waterfowl. If you get a rifled barrel it is even good for deer.

It shoots the 31/2 inch magnum shells as well, so I say this thing would be great for turkey hunting. As a matter of fact, the guy who was selling me the gun at BP said it is great for turkey hunting, as well as waterfowl.

I do not believe it has a full choke barrel. It has minimal choke, if any, and comes with the standard Remington choke tube.
