Great Gun Great deal for excellent value! GREAT shotgun without breaking the bank. Feels strong and sturdy, can't complain one bit! June 1, 2014
Amazing I bought this gun two years ago and still running strong. As soon as I shouldered it, it had a natural feel to it & the sights lined up amazingly. I shot ducks, geese, grouse to clays (2 3/4" to 3 1/2 magnums) with it and no jams. I highly recommend this shotgun for those who don't want a semi. April 24, 2014
Needs a ported barrel Good gun overall but with low wieght everyone is correct, when you shoot you know it. Remington needs to make a ported barrel for this bad boy. September 23, 2013
887 waterforl i bought this gun just before early goose season last year for the first month or so it was awesome..... then it got a little wet... after cleaning this gun it was still a pain.. this gun turned into basically a full time single shot.. i have cleaned this gun numerous times since then and i have only got it to cycle once... going to trade this piece off this week April 7, 2013

I have never seen a left handed model but would look on Remington's website to make sure. They have to make something left handed.

This is the only model on Remington’s web site, see http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model-887/model-887-nitro-mag-waterfowl.aspx model 82502. However, you might check with your local retail store to see if they offer a left handed model. Here is a link to our retail stores for assistance: www.basspro.com/stores.

With the right choke tube this would be a good gun for turkeys or waterfowl. If you get a rifled barrel it is even good for deer.

It shoots the 31/2 inch magnum shells as well, so I say this thing would be great for turkey hunting. As a matter of fact, the guy who was selling me the gun at BP said it is great for turkey hunting, as well as waterfowl.

I do not believe it has a full choke barrel. It has minimal choke, if any, and comes with the standard Remington choke tube.
