by FX10 Love my 887
I've heard so many bad reviews on this gun. And I cannot see why. I've owned shotguns all my life, and I'm 56 years old. Have a 1100, 870 and a Mossberg. I absolutely LOVE this gun. I have well over 5000 rounds through my gun. And not One issue with it. That says something in itself. I've seen a Youtube video where a guy called it a Click Stick. Claiming that when you pull back on the fore stock it clicks (soft strike#. I don't know who taught that boy how to shoot. But why are you pulling back on the fore stock?
In the 3 years that I've owned my 887, it has jammed once. And that was due to using JUNK shells #Rio). Our Club gunsmith took it apart and gave me the shell. The brass casing was not machined properly. That's the Only issue I had with this gun. A lot of guys in my club said they heard bad things about it when I bought it 3 years ago. They have ALL shot it, and love it. And a few went out and bought their own, and love it. 2 Thumbs up for the 887.

I purchased in October 2013, as soon as I took out of the box I started having a problems with the action. I returned to Bass Pro Shop and they said one of the action bars was bent because it is made of plastic. Returning to Remington for repairs or replacement (hopefully). I was so disappointed. I am going to replace it for a Remington 870.

I gave it a 4 because the gun shoots low. Aimed a little high and it worked great. I haven't had a problem with 3 1/2" jamming, went duck hunting heavily last season with it and didn't have any problems. Good gun for the money!
