Went out on a limb and bought this gun last year to duck hunt with, I thought since it wouldnt rust it would be a great duck hunting gun but i havent been impressed with the way it shoots. It shoots way low and the shells sometimes jam in the tube and wont come out without a lot of work which is a problem when duck hunting, i should have spent a little extra and got a benelli nova or which i probably will end up doing before duck season rolls back around.

This gun shoots low and will not eject 3 1/2" shells. It will lock up sometimes and you have to really work it to shoot!

I bought this going 2 years ago and have used it every season. Shooting everything from dove to waterfowl And every load from 2 and 3/4 led to 3 1/2 steel. I have never had a problem with it. It shoots great with out very much re coil for a pump. Could not be happier with my purchase. By the way rust is never an issue this gun does not rust. The only complaint is that it does not come with multiple chokes. But even after market shows are fairly inexpensive. Remington hit a homerun with this 1 if more people were open minded to a quote unquote ugly gun... game doesn't care what it got shot with or how it looks it only knows it got shot.

GREAT GUN FOR THE MONEY!!!
I bough this gun last year as my first shotgun, I live near salt water so I figured the protective wrap would ease my worries of rusting. Turns out this gun is everything I could want in a shotgun. The recoil pad is very cushy and easy to shoot, the only time I really feel the recoil is with 3 1/2 in. 00 buckshot which is expected. otherwise never had a problem with a jam or anything like that, and I have shot a variety of shot through it from 2 3/4 to 3 1/2 and 7shot to 00. It breaks down really easy to clean just like an 870 and best of all no worries about rust or tarnishing.

Yes this gun will chamber 2 3/4, 3, and 3 1/2" shells. you cant go wrong with this gun and if you hunt cold weather it has no exposed metal on the outside so it doesnt freeze your hands off. Happy hunting from the Rakin Drakes Staff out of Ponca City OK
