I gave it a 4 because the gun shoots low. Aimed a little high and it worked great. I haven't had a problem with 3 1/2" jamming, went duck hunting heavily last season with it and didn't have any problems. Good gun for the money!

Purchased this gun and I am having light strike issues. The left action arm does not stretch as far as it should to the trigger assembly. I called remington and theyre sending me a new trigger assembly but theyre on backorder so we'll see how long that takes. Customer service guy at Remington told me this is a common issue. I loved the feel and the way it moved so I purchased it but I wished i hadnt. If you do purchase it, before so, make sure when you lock the fore end in the forward position that it does not move back and forth. check the bolt assembly when the fore end is locked and see if that moves at all. If theres no movement then you might be ok but dont say you werent warned. I should have bought the nova

Purchased 9/7/2012. Inspected, and THOROUGHLY cleaned and oiled prior to use. Took to range. Patterned @ 40 yards with supplied modified choke. Dead center, 80% pattern in 30" circle. 4 rounds of skeet. No failure to feed or failure to extract. Range officer mentioned he had seen others with same model. Two complained of problems. Both admitted buying new and no cleaning or lubrication. I used variety of loads. Light field, reloads, steel, magnums, deer slugs. Even some cheap cheap junk from 10 years ago. 500 rounds so far. Excellent. Handed trusty 870 down to daughter.
