I've had this gun since december of last year and it worked perfectly for the first 10 shells then it started jaming almost every 5 shots or so... and I always clean and oil my guns afer a hunt so its not a lack of maintenance and the camo paint is also chipping off already

887 NITROMAG Rocks
I've had this gun for about a year and a half and have hunted Ducks Geese and Turkey with it and am really happy. I feel I can rely on this in all weather as it has RAINED HARD on us and never have had any problem. I also shot sporting clays that require quick cycling with no problems or missfires.
Durable and dependable, what else do you want in a shotgun?

I got this gun for my birthday in January, and although I have not had a chance to pluck any fowl out of the air yet, I have been to the range and been thoroughly impressed with this gun. It is durable, reliable, and easy as can be to take a part and clean. I'm really impressed with this gun, and plan on getting an 870 as well.

i got the 887 waterfowl model and after shooting a whole lot of different shotguns in my past from traditions to berretta i have got to say this remington is one of the best and on the top of my list. i do a lot of duck hunting and started off with the stock 'over decoys' choke that came with the gun and was greatly pleased but after i changed to a kicks high flyer modified steel choke the gun and the kicks made a great couple. the smoothness of the gun and the ease of the shot makes it feel almost unfair to whatever it is you are hunting. all that matters is this is a great gun and i have enjoyed it

It shoots the 31/2 inch magnum shells as well, so I say this thing would be great for turkey hunting. As a matter of fact, the guy who was selling me the gun at BP said it is great for turkey hunting, as well as waterfowl.
