The silky smooth twin action bars prevent binding and twisting so that you'll always have the chance to get off a second shot. Comes with a 3" chamber and 4 + 1 capacity.  The 26'' vent rib barrel features a Rem choke and front bead sight. Color: Black Matte.

Rated 4 out of 5 by great first gun I got this gun as a gift and it has been great! I use it for dove hunting and trap shooting it has jammed a few times but it was the person using its fault and not the gun. Very easy to maintain. March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Remington 870 Express. I bought this shotgun for both target shooting and hunting. Action is nice and smooth, and has no problem cycling whatever shells I shoot through it. Accessory barrels are readily available if your shooting needs change, and accepts Rem-Choke choke tubes. Very dependable shotgun, I would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a dependable shotgun. August 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Basic 12 Gauge I shopped around for over a month deciding which shotgun would suit my needs and be within a tight budget. The 870 Express was it. Easy to take down, clean, and put back together - this gun is made to last. I have used it in rain, snow, sleet, and sun without one problem. I buy the cheapest shells available for target shooting and have shot more than 7 different brands out of the barrel without one issue. Note: The factory grease coat on a new one is thick - make sure to give this gun a good cleaning before first use. May 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent gun The 870 has had some bad press as of late due to shells sticking in the chambers of these guns. Before I even fired a single round, I took a section of cleaning rod and a bronze brush wrapped in 00 steel wool soaked in wd40 and chucked it into a drill and polished the chamber for about 2-3 minutes on high. I did this to both mine and my wifes shotguns that we bought the same day at Basspro Memphis. Neither me or my wife have had any problems in the least out of these guns, and we have about 450 rounds through each gun. Don't let the bad press keep you from enjoying one of the best guns made. Easy to shoot, solid made piece of american workmanship. I love this gun!! August 26, 2012
