Remington® 870 Express® Super Mag 12 Gauge Waterfowl Camo Shotgun
Not the best gun out there. oh well
Here's the good and the bad.
-ease of breakdown and cleaning
-good choice for a lefty
-jams often while i'm duck hunting (first 2-300 rounds were flawless, then it just went south)
-The loader isn't dependable and half loads the next shell a lot
-The finish of the camo is coming off in less than 20 days of hunting
-the bead broke 2 weeks into owning it. i switched it out with a copper bead.
-it's a very "long" 28" gun.
I'm going to be sending it back to them after duck season is over. I am left handed so a little limited on semi-auto's. Already picking out my next gun because I know this won't keep me happy for very long.

bought this shotgun 3 years ago for dove, duck, geese, hunting and shooting trap...the first hunt with it was dove and I use very cheap ammo. the gun jammed a couple times. after that started shooting better ammo and never had another problem with jams,,,,
I've had over 2500 rounds thru this gun and the more I shot it the better it gets... one of the most dependable shotguns I have I'm getting ready to go and buy another one for my grandson
it hits what you aim at.. I use any where from extra full choke to skeet choke.... have shot 2 3/4 lead and 2 3/4", 3' , 3 1/2" steel with no problems

Won't buy again
Had this gun for 15 years. Had it stored for 8 years. Half way through this season it stopped cycling correctly. It failed me no matter how well it was broken down and cleaned. Shells would not eject after being fired also. The bolt would literally pull back the brass off the shell where it hooked onto it with leaving me to watch the birds fly away. Happened numerous times until I put it up for good. I'll never waste my money on this gun again. Kicks so hard with 3 1/2 shells that the pad when flat. I can't even sell it with a clean conscience. A gun you can't trust 100% of the time is worthless.

Great all around gun
Bought this gun just before duck hunting season for that purpose alone. The first few rounds through the gun are rough but it gets better the more you put through it. (Recommend hitting the range before taking on a hunt to get some rounds through it). I love this gun, jammed on me only once because i took it straight hunting without running it through its paces first, my mistake. Shot all size of shells from 2 3/4 up to 3 1/2 and handled them all the same. You really have to commit when cycling as any hesitation will cause it to bind up, but that will come the more you use it as well. Overall, perfect gun for the price and the versatility.
