Remington® 870 Express Shotgun
cheap and worthless
got this gun and was so excited to try it out. I was in for a disappointment. every couple of shots, the gun won't let me pump to cycle and clear the shell.I have to hit it on the side and shake it with my hand to get it the locked action to release and let me pump. at first i thought may be because it is new and need few rounds to break the action, but 100 shells AND OVER 50 jams I figured it is the gun quality .
the quality of the wood is horrible.

Best First Shotgun
This was my very first gun purchase, and it was a good one. I wanted to give duck hunting a try and I decided on this gun due to price and the great reviews I've read on it. Everything about this gun lived up to it's reputation. Reliability, durability, smooth action and quality. I have to agree with everyone who says putting cheap rounds in will cause some sticking. I shot a couple of rounds of traps using Winchesters target loads, and I would say 2 or 3 shells had trouble ejecting. Personally I don't think that's too bad out of the 50 or so rounds I put through the gun that day. For my duck hunting trip I used the Federal Steel rounds and not a single one stuck. I went through one box that day. This shotgun is great! I like pump handle shotguns simple due to the sound they make when you put a shell in the chamber lol. Buy this gun you won't regret it.

Overall great shotgun
Never jams, easy to clean, and very versatile when it comes to hunting. The first time I ever shot it put 175 rounds through it and had no hiccups what so ever. For only 319 bucks, its a steal.
