Bought this shotgun back in April and it has already gone through about 1,200 rounds. It has a durable, quality build, solid stock, and is easy to clean. Put a Mossy Oak skin on, and now it's great. The only problem I have had is jamming during ejection, which is an easy fix (polish inside of barrel where it meets the action). The 870 Express is a workhorse and great for anyone starting out or looking for a quality gun at a great price that can take a beating and will still last for years.

If you keep this gun clean than it will shoot and eject great. if you don't than it will jam up now and then. It is really durable and doesn't rust easy, I shot 2 turkey in the rain on the same day and dropped both of them. My only complaint is the weight it is a little heavy, but other than that a truly great gun.

I bought this gun in November this year and it's performed well for me in that time. However I've had issues with the quality of the gun. I bought it new and once I started comparing it to my other guns or similar guns my friends own, I found I really didn't like it. For starters the stock is small for the size of this gun. I found it to be to short for me (I'm 6' 1"). Another issue I've found is the finish on the bolt carrier is awful. Mine came out of the box covered in pits and rust an I live in CO where rust isn't as big a problem so it's kind of impressive that it came rusted. The last thing I'll mention is shell ejection. Shells love to only eject half way with this gun and I don't know why. My other pump guns don't do it and I take the gun all the way down and clean every piece after every shooting expedition. I've also had a couple occasions where the shell expands in the chamber and gets stuck, so much so that I have to put a cleaning rod down the muzzle and ram it out. Ultimately I'd say this gun gets the job done, but it does not do so elegantly. You could certainly do better.
