  • Designed for the widest variety of end uses
Over the years, no manufacturer has been responsible for more advancements in rimfire ammunition than Remington. No doubt this is because Remington gives their rimfire ammunition the same meticulous manufacturing attention as their centerfire ammunition. As a result, Remington produces the widest variety of rimfire loadings for every possible end use. Whether it's hunting, plinking or competing. Remington has developed the widest variety of rimfire ammunition to match any use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by excellant ammo Good quality functioned very well. can deffinately feel the difference of this round verses other high velocity stuff. I was trying to get the cci mini mags but couldn't find them then found that the velocity was higher with these. all in all they were very good. would do a bang up job on small game. February 7, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Accuracy Anyone? I have been a huge believer in Remington rimfire ammunition ever since I learned to shoot. This is the only Remington ammo (I hope) that will ever get a 1 star from me. I sighted in several rimfire rifles with my normal "go to" Remington ammo and then took out the Viper .22's. My first two shots were low left, off 2" from where I had zero'd the rifle...initially I thought, ok, this ammo shoots low left. Then, it started going high left, low right, left, high right, and then one didn't even hit the paper. I was speechless, I thought I messed my scope up or something, so, I double checked everything, cleaned the barrel and tried again. I had the exact same result. I then went back to my normal Remington ammo, shot 15 rounds and had a 1/2 inch group at 50 yards.I repeated the same process of shooting the Viper ammo with other .22's and I got the same result. If you are buying the Viper .22's just to throw down range for fun or to shoot out of a .22 revolver. I say go for it. BUT, if you are looking for accuracy at the range or small game hunting, look at other .22 ammo Remington makes. I will still purchase Remington rimfire ammunition, just not the Viper .22's. Rated 5 out of 5 by Good to Great I have had trouble with .22 lr jamming in my new SIG P226 Classic. Have gone through over 100 Viper cartridges without an extraction or feeding problem. May 14, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by great for tree chickens Shot many tree chickens with this load. (grey squirrels). None ever got back up. Just dont use these in a semi. They work better in a bolt action. February 27, 2012
