I was surprised I received my order so quickly. With .22 rounds being hard to come by lately, it was great to be able to purchase these.

Is the subsonic ammo as quite as the aguila .22 super colibri ammo? Also which one is better to hunt squirrel?
Answers
A:
I don't know if it is quieter.I have a licensed silencer fitted to a Ruger 10/22.
The Ruger functions flawlessly.
I suspect that this ammo will be much quieter in any gun.

Remington Yellow Jackets are a perfect squirrel shell. The hollow point expands well if you make a head shot or hit a bone. They also work well on rabbits. I have not had a squirrel or rabbit get away with this shell.Details:
I am thinking about shooting some pests in my backyard but I was worried about my neighbors hearing the shots and getting scared. Any suggestions?Answers
A:
Use .22 shorts, as they are sub sonic and make quite a bit less noise.(if your gun handles them)Top 100 Contributor

if you're worried about the neighbors hearing the sound then they are too close to safely discharge a firearm in my opinion.Details:

They will easily kill squirrels, Rabbits, and snakes. anything larger will require a larger bullet.Top 100 Contributor
A:
the 22 is recommended for small animals, squirels, rabbits, crows, snakes, etc...they are still leathal for larger animals but do not have the impact for a quick and human kill.

A:
This round can kill small game, varmints, and that raccoon eating you dog's food on the porch. It will also take a small hog if you shoot him though the ear. The .22lr has killed it share of furs and can still be found in the hands of a trapper.A .22 can also kill a deer if it is shot in the head. The problem is that a .22 will result in far more injuries and slow deaths that it will in kills. Never use a .22 to hunt deer. It is unethical, immoral and very illegal.
