Water jug holds 7 gallons. The jug is constructed of a thick blue plastic. It has a water spigot on top where you can turn it off or on easily when you lay it on it's side. You can also make the spigot switch to the inside if you are worried about it breaking off in travel. The handle is positioned good for easy carrying. Great for camping, boating, hunting, pic-nicking, etc. It is not insulated but great water storage for clean up, cooking, or drinking.

I like the larger size and the vent is much better than other brands that I have used. The spout is better than others that I have used and doesn't break easy.

These are really getting hard to find. Works very well. Good spout. Heavy duty, resists holes and leaks. The size is right for carrying and they're stackable.

Big sticker on front say's, "Your health is important to us, BPA Free" So the answer is yes, and I am glad. Container has a 5 year warranty too.
