I've had two pairs of these flip flops for about a year. I wear one pair to work(college professor) almost every day year round. They were comfortable right out of the box and feel even better after daily wear for a year. They still look pretty good too.
I wear my 2nd pair fishing on my boat. Both pairs get tossed in the washer periodically to freshen them up. The leather doesn't seem to be damaged by wash water or detergent.
Those of you concerned with the silly bottle openers on the sole tearing up wood staircases, snagging berber carpet , gouging gelcoat on the boat or beating up the washing machine simply remove them. I removed mine with a hammer, flat screw driver and vise grip pliers. Took a little bitt of effort, but they came out clean.

44 year old man, never fan of flip flop style since I can never find one comfortable.
These felt like I had them for months- extremely comfortable!
The bottle top opener is a good converstaion piece as well.
Although $50, you get what you pay for and these will last for years.

These sandals from day one are the most comfortable, no break in peroid for these sandals! I normaly would not have spent $50.00 on a pair of sandals, but after wearing them and seeing them, the quality is definitely there, well worth the extra $20.00 spent to buy them! These sandals are AAAA+ Thanks Bass Pro for carrying quality brands! This kind of quality is exactly what keeps me coming back!
