I have two of these adapters for my boat trailers. I carry one in my truck for a spare. Never had any problems and no one has stolen an adapter while parked at the boat ramp either.

I bought this cause my Dodge Ram came with the built-in round plugin and I have a four flat on my camper and a five flat on my boat trailer. Both work great, makes it really easy - no rewiring, just a great connection. I would recommend this product.

I have the 6 way round to 4 flat that fits the towing package that came on my Chevy truck. My truck originally came with this adapter, but I forgot to remove it from the socket one time and I guess someone must have borrowed it, since they certainly won't fall out on their own.
The new one that I bought has little led lights on it to show you if the vehicle side of the harness is working. This is a good solid adapter that works great, and please remember to remove it from the socket when your done before someone else does it for you.
