Rated 5 out of 5 by great buy After reviewing and doing research on many binoculars I settled on these. I couldn't be happier. Well worth the money and much more affordable than many other name brands. May 12, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good binos Well done redfield, the leupold connection is really paying off with redfield these binoa are great bought 2, also be aware I use a bino harness, but if you don't have one the come with a really nice comfortable strap not just a thin Pieace of nylon. Also, have 2 of the redfield revolution scopes good glass I. That price range  April 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by great went down to bass pro. tried these, nikon monarch, and bushnell anf like these and the price. took them turkey hunting and they are awesome. and a great price, at half the price of the monarch. March 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome These Redfield Binocs are everything the ad says they are ,incredible clarity easy and quick to focus ,you can pay much more for an optic but these will do just as well as a much more exspensive pair for a fraction of the price, the lens caps have no attachment to the binocs ,minor problem though all else they are great! you can but 5 pairs of cheap binocs and waste your money -wish they had them at the store instead of having to order online-I believe they hold them from the store level to get the shipping costs February 25, 2011

A:
These are very good. it will depend on what your are spotting. If you are spotting target groups on paper they are great but you will need contrasting paper they dont work well with black paper targets. If you are spotting animals i would say you should be fine up to two hundred yards to get all the detail you need. For the money i would not hesitate to get these and compare them to brands that are 360 and under.

I think you are asking how close you can use these. If that is wrong I am sorry. You can see as close up as 11 feet the distance away just depends on what you want. I deer hunt in SC and they will work fine for our area. I hope this helps. As for the field of view its 341' at 1000 yards close in 2'-3'+- at 25'. REDFIELD 10x42
