Our new Redfield® CounterStrike Tactical Rifle Scope puts every advantage in your favor, combining a powerful, visible, red laser and an illuminated, 4-MOA green/red dot scope in one versatile sighting system. Get on target faster and with greater precision, either through the scope or using the laser sight. Mounting the CounterStrike on the rail of your MSR/AR is as easy as tightening the nut. Rock-solid under fire and fast, repeatable mounting/dismounting, the CounterStrike offers precision 1/2-MOA click adjustments, slotted for screwdriver or coin, for windage and elevation. Knob covers are tethered to prevent loss in the field. A powerful, integrated visible laser sight lets you engage targets in an instant from almost any position. User selects ''on/off'' mode for laser. The fully multicoated lens system reduces light reflection and diffusion, and delivers maximum light to your eye for a bright, crisp image in all lighting conditions. Completely sealed and nitrogen-filled, the CounterStrike is totally waterproof and fog proof. I bought the Redfield CounterStrike Tactical Rifle Scope for my 1st AR I built. Installation was easy and bore sighting it was a snap. Range sighting was ok (since I was using a 25 yrd range) has a half dollar size grouping on target. After some difficulties with rifle on my second trip to range scope was still on and impressive since have to disassemble and reassemble upper on AR was done scope had been removed and replaced still half dollar size group on target.
The only problem with this scope is the MOA kind of large especially for shooting 100 yrds and long with a 4 MOA that almost 1" dot at 100 yrds.

by Crabblike Good value
Don't use this with an A2 front sight post.
I planned to switch to a railed gas block any way, so using this optic just hastened the project. The optic seems to be well built and has held zero through the first 100 rounds. The buttons are fairly easy to find and operate. Laser adjustments are somewhat cumbersome but one they're set, are good to go. I find the 4 MOA dot acceptable for 'combat accuracy' out to 50 yards. (I haven't tested anything farther yet.)
The auto-off after two hours is a definite plus, and battery life is good if the laser use is limited.

Put this on my 10/22, and got 2" groups at 50 yds. Not to bad. Put the laser on 25 yds. Very easy to install and operate had red dot and laser sighted in with about 15 rds. Laser performs fine on this gun.

Seems to be well built and the price is reasonable. The problem is that the laser is mounted too low and cannot be used with any type of front sight mounted on top of the barrel.
Also the elevation adjustment wheel is difficult to reach and is too tight to adjust with your fingers.
I will be returning this one.
