RedHead® Z-2 Weaver-Style Scope Mounting Bases
Why lug around extra weight if you don't have to? The RedHead Z-2 Weaver Style Mount Bases are made of the Z-2 zinc alloy, a metal that is 50% stronger than aluminum and lighter than steel. Bases are available in two-piece or rail designs to match different guns. Two-pieces bases are made for bolt-action or standard in-lines, and one-piece bases are for closed breech guns.

I mounted this base on my 12 ga Encore Slug Barrell. After trying to sight in my scope, I could not get the slugs group tight. I shot approx 6 boxes of Winchester Platinum Sabots before I noticed the base had come loose. I removed the scope and tightened the base again and it came loose again. I guess I will have to spend the $49.99 on T/C Maxima base next time.I would not recommend cutting cost by buying cheap mounting bases like these.

The base you need is the same as the Thomson Center Encore. Then select the height rings you need to clear the objective, (front) of the scope. Both are available in the Z2 line-up. A good choice!Answers

Since the Genesis is made by Traditions, and it has the same mounting pattern as CVA, these will work.1 of 1
