Works just fine
Honestly, I almost didn't buy this release after so many reported that you can't do anything else while you're wearing it. Solution, I turned it around while performing other tasks. I also thought it was too short, but once tension from the string was put on it, it fit just fine. I tried on other more expensive releases the same day and honestly, it's the best one yet. The velcro wrist strap makes adjustments quick and easy. Yeah, velcro is noisey but you're not using it as a tournequet or gonna give it that much slack to the point of it sliding off your wrist. And as for the expensive ones that pivot and swivel, try grabing hold of the caliper in a flash.

Great low cost release
I'm trying to return to archery after a 20 year hiatus and need to get things going on a tight budget. I found a release at my local discount department store and found it very uncomfortable. Later in the week, I stopped by the nearest Bass Pro store and found this one. For only eight dollars more I was able to get a comfortable release with more features than the other one. I'm glad I kept my receipt. The Redhead also fits my large wrist/hand. I'm a REALLY big guy and have found wrist size to be an issue for some releases. This one fits with no problem.
