Bought this so I didn't have to pile on so much clothing when I got in my tree stand. It works great!! Very lightweight. I where a light baselayer under it (under armor) this on top of that with a lightweight jacket has been keeping me very warm in the stand when it has been aroun 32 degrees out. I'm sure as it gets colder I will need more on. I also used this on a phesant hunt and it kept me warm and dry in 35 deg weather. Just the 2 base layers and a vest is all I had on and it was perfect. as the day went on and you usually are shedding layers I was still comfortable

I purchased the tall version of this and while it is slightly longer than a normal version, it is still quite short. It's very warm in the cold and wind so it does the job well, but I have to make sure it's tucked into my long underwear so it doesn't pop up too much. When washed, it does shed a decent amount of lint.
