I used these pants and the thermal shirt as a base layer on the flight deck of an AirCraft Carrier. With 30+ knot winds in 20 degree weather these kept me warm for hours. I wish they made glove inserts and ski masks from the same material.

Very comfortable, and in GA they kept me warm with just a pair of scent-lok Savannah pants over them. I was out in 20 degree weather and I was almost too warm at some points, ie. Walking to the stand.

I bought 2 complete sets of the RedHead XPS Expedition Weight Thermal tops and the bottoms, I spent over $240.00 and on both the bottoms the stiching came apart at the very same place.. On both a huge hole developed right between the legs.
This happend to one set the very first time I wore them and the 3rd time I wore the other set.. I love the RedHead Lifetime warrantee socks, other than that I have had No luck with RedHead brand clothes.. I wish I had bought the Wool Power 400gm Baselayers with my $240

My husband got these and I tried them on and didn't want to take them off. I wear them to sleep in. They feel great and keep me warm. Now I want some for myself but they don't have them for women so I will have to get me a pair of men's. We have the pants and the mock turtleneck.

I don't know what size you are, but I wear a large and I have worn mine 15-20 times and never had that problem. So maybe they have reinforced them since then...

We are unaware of an issue with the crotch in these products. These products have been the same manufacturing for Fall 2008 and Fall 2009. Therefore, if yours were purchased prior to that, it would be a different product now.While there is no official warranty on these items, you can return them and get the products replaced (of course observing our normal return policies).
