Great release!! Just a great release!! Well made, easily adjustable, and a comfortable fit. The bottom right corner on the back of the package, reads Black Mamba Swingaway, and when I googled it..you guessed it...up popped the Cobra Black Mamba Swingaway release..which this release is,just Cobra put Redhead on it instead of Cobra...and costs less!! Made in the USA,and comes with a LIFETIME warranty..what more could ya ask for?! As for the comments about having a hair trigger, the package contains a wrench and instructions on how to set sensitivity and travel. End of the day..Id buy another,as its a top piece of equipment. Returning After shooting around 100 arrows with this new release, I noticed the stitching that holds the leather onto the wrist/wrap around started coming undone. Also, while you can adjust the length, it tends to expand on its own. Lastly, the end portion where the trigger is attached moves independently and I have to rotate it upwards when nocking so that it's in the same position each time, otherwise the trigger ends up angled down instead of being horizontal. It's super sensitive as well which I am not a big fan of. Will be returning it shortly. April 2, 2014
Works Good Works good, the only thing I really don't like is it's too sensitive, it almost seems like a strong wind will release it. It could be better if the sensitivity wasn't so touchy. October 24, 2013
good release Hasn't failed yet. Just a good release. The thing I really like though is the fold back feature. Makes it much easier to do other things (like carry gear) while wearing the release. Stays out of the way. October 14, 2013

Not sure the diameter that this is capable of, but unless your wrist is bigger than the average man's calf muscle then you'd be ok. I fit it over my gauntlet winter hunting gloves no problem.

My bow is about 70lbs. pull back and it holds fine but it becomes a hair trigger. Lower poundage it does fine around 50lbs. or 60lbs.

It WILL NOT release itself...you have to deploy the trigger. It comes with an allen wrench and instructions how to adjust sensitivity and trigger travel.

I didn't have a problem with it releasing by it's self but the pin that hold the release to the wrist fell out. So therefore if it was only hanging in by a little bit and you drew back a misfire could very possibly happen
