Rated 4 out of 5 by 45 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good purchase Works flawlessley and very very light trigger release.Theres better releases out there but for the money you cannot beat this release. May 3, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for the money The release was responsive and sensitive and I really liked how you could adjust the length. This isn't a top level release, but you are not even coming close to paying top level prices so take that into consideration. The strap is very comfortable... one of the most comfortable I've worn. April 2, 2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality The stitching has come undone in less than a week and the head has come unscrewed on its own and fallen off twice. Very cheaply made and it is a cobra release that RedHead puts their name on. I like RedHead stuff but this one needs to be taken off the shelf. I'm returning it this week. I have been EXTREMELY happy with my RedHead Kronik bow and RedHead carbon fury arrows. February 16, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Release I really like this release. I have been using it for a year now. However one thing I have noticed, is that it does kinda rub on my wrist and raw it some. If I could buy all over I would have probably went a step up and bought the REDHEAD model with the buckle. October 8, 2008

Was wondering how long the trigger is from the strap? Is it adjustable at that point I have long fingers and don't want to get a short release and then have a returning hassle.

Due to a wrist injury I found something called a Ripshot release that attaches above the elbow so that it doesn't put any strain on the wrist. It doesn't come with a release head.

No. This is fixed head and you wouldn't want to remove it for any reason or suffer functionality concerns.

Yeah you could take it off and attach it to something else I'm sure. It's got an exposed nut holding release head to strap, wouldn't be tough I wouldn't think

You can't adjust the trigger pull. Keep your finger firmly behind it on the draw back and don't lay your finger on it until you're ready to shoot. You WANT a hair trigger that will go off with slightly more than a stiff breeze for proper release.

I want to know if a teen, ages 11 to 12, can use this release? Is it adjustable or is it only suited for larger hand sizes? Don't want to order this and then have to send it back.

A:
The strap would be very bulky on a child's wrist. Lengthwise, it would depend on the child. It is adjustable, but the 1/2-3/4" of adjustability may not be enough.
