release aid adjustment is limited, too short for my hand. trigger is not adjustable, and release trigger is too quick for hunting purposes. October 19, 2014
Got me started I started with this and was happy with it until it started tearing up my d-loop. Also its a pain to pull arrow with when it is on. Going with a model that folds back and a smaller head. September 14, 2014
Not bad but not great Works well, and is smooth. The screw that holds to the wrist strap wore threw quick, like in 2 months of shooting a few times a week. February 25, 2013
Best for cheap Very nice for $30. But it will tear a d loop up fast. I'd buy again tho. But I did replace with a tru fire when had extra money. February 21, 2013

Was wondering how long the trigger is from the strap? Is it adjustable at that point I have long fingers and don't want to get a short release and then have a returning hassle.

A:
It is adjustable at that point. There is a screw you loosen and it slides up and down to adjust to your liking.

Due to a wrist injury I found something called a Ripshot release that attaches above the elbow so that it doesn't put any strain on the wrist. It doesn't come with a release head.

No. This is fixed head and you wouldn't want to remove it for any reason or suffer functionality concerns.

Yeah you could take it off and attach it to something else I'm sure. It's got an exposed nut holding release head to strap, wouldn't be tough I wouldn't think

A:
You can't adjust the trigger pull. Keep your finger firmly behind it on the draw back and don't lay your finger on it until you're ready to shoot. You WANT a hair trigger that will go off with slightly more than a stiff breeze for proper release.

I want to know if a teen, ages 11 to 12, can use this release? Is it adjustable or is it only suited for larger hand sizes? Don't want to order this and then have to send it back.

A:
The strap would be very bulky on a child's wrist. Lengthwise, it would depend on the child. It is adjustable, but the 1/2-3/4" of adjustability may not be enough.
