GORE-TEX® PacLite
Lighten up without losing protection! The GORE-TEX PacLite membrane is laminated to lightweight nylon, producing garments that are extremely breathable, compressible, and durably waterproof. It contains a black layer that is made of an "oil fighting" polymer, plus an added level of carbon. This unique layer allows perspiration vapors to pass through, yet it keeps body oils, insect repellents, and many other environmental contaminants from altering the membrane's waterproof properties. Plus, it's designed to pack down and fit just about anywhere -- even in a Nalgene® bottle!

The lightest, most packable, durably waterproof outerwear available, offering extreme breathability. XPR GORE-TEX PacLite is very compressible, and because it takes up relatively little space, it can fit easily into a small bag or fanny pack. Its unique construction is built around a carbon-impregnated ''oil-countering'' polymer that blocks out not only body oils, but insect repellents, sunscreens, and other oily compounds. Fully functional fly with snap closure and belt loops; 2 zippered front slash pockets; 1 large cargo pocket; 10'' leg zippers with storm flaps and snap closures; packs into the rear stow pocket. Rated 2 out of 5 by DeerNutt disappointed I like the quieter outer material and the extra leg pockets...but I hunted in these on two rainy days, first day they seemed ok although we never had more than a small shower...2nd day we actually got a decent 10 minutes of hard rain, when I got back to the truck I was drenched beneath these pants but not my upper body that was covered by a 18 year old Gore Tex jacket. Needless to say I returned the pants the next day September 3, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by PaddleSlapper Jigging Walleye I was on the Wolf River in central Wisconsin walleye jigging. It was very overcast and moist out. I had my new XPR Gore-Tex pants on and am glad I did. It started to down pour, and as other boats were heading in I stayed out there and got my limit. Not to mention I was as dry as a bone when I landed and got into my truck. Thank You Bass Pro Shops! November 2, 2011

The rains have arrived with a vengeance in South Africa and its spring so my 100MPH Rain Suit is too warm and I needed a decent rain suit for our summer month and the RedHead XPR Gore-Tex PacLite pant and jacket was my section. I got a chance to test it out today on one of our local dams and while the rain wasn’t heavy the suit was very comfortable and I didn’t cook while wearing it. Excellent choice as a summer rain suit! The fishing was not great but the new rain suit was! December 19, 2010
