I wanted a nice hat that I could wear in town during the winter. This hat is awesome in that it is 100% wool and has ear flaps that are also made out of wool. I was worried that it would make my head itch because I have fair skin and wool irritates it but after wearing it for several days I was itch free. I wear 7 1/8 inch hat and this hat in a medium fits a little snug with the ear flaps up but stretches well and fits good with them down. Best hat I have found of its kind.

This hat looks good,fit me good and for the price you can't go wrong. I have not had to use the earflaps yet but they feel like they would help if I ever need them. I have had several comments on how well it looks. I would recommend it to any one looking for a lower priced hat. I might even get another so I can have one for everyday and one for Sunday.

I was skeptical at first trying to order a hat via internet, but now that I have it I love it. The size chart is a deception, I have a 7 1/4 so chart said I need a large wrong. I should have ordered a medium I had to role some news paper to make it fit, the flaps work great and it sheds water perfectly.

hat is very comfy and looks great, make sure you order proper size had to go smaller than normal, returned hat for size smaller. origionally ordered large with help from sizing chart and customer rep. but had to pay extra money(almost $10) to return it for medium size. one would think that bass pro could have covered that. thats why i gave 4 stars and not 5.

I would say large. I normally wear an extra large, which is 7 1/2 or 7 5/8. Furthermore, because of the ear flaps in this hat, I would definitely recommend large.
